14. Cut Down on Salt

Most modern diets are very high in salt which in turn causes a range of problems including water retention. The quickest way to clear out the extra salt is to cut your intake and drink more water. The puffiness and dark circles that many suffer from are in part caused by a sodium-potassium imbalance. Eat bananas daily to counteract this imbalance caused by an over-consumption of salt. They have high amounts of potassium and are filled with electrolytes which combat the negative effects of salt.
